The AURA Grants system portal upgrade was completed over the weekend and the system is back on line as of this morning. There are a few items I’d like to bring to your attention:
- The new budget grids require that you scroll left/right and up/down to view the entire row. We have put in a request to see if we can have the page reconfigured but in the meantime, you will have to scroll.
- The -1% validation will pop up during data entry if you navigate via your mouse. If you use the tab button to navigate from field to field it does not pop up. We have put in a request have this validation run when the page is saved vs each row.
- The F&A and Apply Inflation buttons will default once you have picked the Cost Type based upon the business rules for that cost type, e.g. on federal grants the cost type of equipment has no F&A.
- Over the next several days, FP’s that were not migrated will be migrated to the new portal software at night, with the goal of all FP’s migrated by September 12 . If you select an un-migrated FP, you will see a page that asks you to wait while the FP is migrated. This should take less than a minute.
