If you are having problems or have questions regarding the AURA application please email AURA-Help@uchicago.edu and a member of the URA Training Group will contact you within 24 hours.

The AURA Help Desk is staffed during standard business hours and support hours are M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.  If you need assistance outside these hours, please email AURA-Help@uchicago.edu

cVPN and Two-Factor Authentication for IRB

IRB requires a secure connection to UChicago's Virtual Private Network (cVPN). If you're using IRB while working off-campus, you'll need to visit https://cvpn.uchicago.edu and download the Cisco Anyconnect secure mobility client. The Anyconnect application must be open and connected to cVPN prior to logging in.

On September 6, 2018, two-factor authentication (2FA) became required to access cVPN. If you're not already registered for two-factor authentication, please register here: https://get2fa.uchicago.edu

Don't Have an AURA Account? 

Most students and staff members are not given AURA accounts automatically, but are added on request. To request access to AURA for yourself, or someone you'd like to sign-up, just visit the Request Access page on lefthand side of the AURA homepage.
